Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!!

Welcome back loves! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Let me start off by saying this- if you don’t have the Influenster app, you need to go install it, like right now! I have always been really picky when it comes to skin care. I have sensitive and oily skin, so it’s very easy for me to break out when trying new products. My daily face wash is La Roche-Posay. It works wonders and is great for my skin type. One of the main things I look for in a face wash is the ability to thoroughly remove all of my make up. Basically it is amazing and I love it! 😍 Bonus! It is super inexpensive! 💵

In my opinion, moisturizing your face is one of the most important steps of your skincare routine. Moisturizer helps keeps your skin hydrated, and there’s no better feeling than a hydrated face 💦 I love getting out of the shower and putting on moisturizer. I can literally feel my face becoming hydrated. It’s one of the best feelings 😍 You should apply moisturizer twice a day. Once in the morning after washing your face, and nightly after your shower. Showers, especially hot showers, can strip your skin of its moisture which causes dry skin. Believe it or not, moisturizer also helps your skin maintain oil. When picking out a moisturizer, try and find one that has plenty of vitamins, collagen, and SPF. I will cover all the benefits of collagen in a later post. We all want to stay young forever, so remember- Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Influenster sent me Neutrogena Bright Boost Night Cream to try and review. Normally I don’t review products until I have tried the product for 30 days, but I already see results within the past three weeks!! This night cream feels so cold against your skin, it feels amazzzzinnnggg! I love the texture of the Bright Boost Night cream moisturizer. It has a light fragrance which, surprisingly, didn’t burn my skin when applying! Normally when I use a moisturizer (or anything on my face) with fragrance, it burns like no other once applied to my face. My skin looks and feels so, so, so soft and smooth!! My skin looks brighter and way more even. Sometimes I develop sun spots which makes my skin super uneven, but this moisturizer evens it all out. I am truly loving the results!

In the morning, I have been using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer. This moisturizer works wonders as well, and it goes well with the night cream. I love to lather my face in all the face creams I can before bed! The gel texture feels so cool and soft against your skin. It also gives your makeup a more fresh faced look.
