Amanda’s Beauty Book is your guide to every day affordable products! Although its nice to splurge, I have to be reasonable within my budget. I’ve found that some drug store brands are better then some of the expensive brands sold at Sephora or Ulta. I have tried multiple makeup brands and products over the years, and I have finally found some that I stuck with! It’s all about finding what you like and what works best with your skin. I have sensitive skin, so I tend to use more clean, fragrance free makeup. My skin is also on the oily side, so I try not to use products that contain oil. Nothing is worse then checking your makeup at 3:00 in the afternoon to see that your forehead is shining from excess oil!!
Here are some of my favorite daily must haves!
Ulta Poreless Face Primer
Price: $13
This is the perfect primer IMO! It leaves your skin feeling silky soft. It isn’t oily at all, and my makeup stays on all day. Primer helps your makeup stay in place all day and not seep into your pores, causing shiny oil spots.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Treatment Corrector Concealer

This concealer is absolutely life changing. WOW is all I can say! This concealer literally covers all of my dark circles! I have searched for years for the perfect concealer to cover my bags and dark circles. At last, I have stumbled upon the holy grail of concealer. It doesn’t crease and lasts all day!
Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation w/ SPF

I’m a foundation junkie! I tend to always go with full coverage whenever I wear makeup. If I am running an errand, I’ll throw on some BB cream, but for everything else I love a full coverage look. This foundation feels super soft and smooth on your skin. It provides amazing coverage which is always a must! You seriously look airbrushed after applying this foundation! It stays on all day/night. This is by far one of my favorites!
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation
Price: $8
This is my go to foundation, especially on a budget. It provides full coverage and it very lightweight. They have so many different shades that you are bound to find your perfect shade. I do find that this foundation makes my face a bit oily towards the end of the day.
Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder
Price: $8
I used to only wear pressed powder until I discovered loose powder! It’s a bit messy, but the results are so worth it. I like to tap my brush over the sink or the cap before applying to get rid of the excess powder. This finishing powder makes your skin look extremely flawless and soft. I love how inexpensive this powder is! I pair it with my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation.
Kylie Cosmetics Tequila Tan Bronzer
Price: $18
I’m totally obsessed with the Kylie Cosmetics collection. Her products are amazing. I love using this bronzer when I’m contouring or just as an everyday bronzer. It’s not to dark and it has a light shimmer which I love. I like to go back and fourth between this shade and Toasty. I recommend this bronzer 10/10!
Benefit Cosmetics GLAMification Sunny Golden- Pink Powder Blush
Price: $30
This blush is so beautiful! It has a beautiful rose gold glow. Personally, rose gold is one of my favorite colors. I love when my bronzer and blush have a subtle shimmer. A little goes a long way with this product! This blush last me 6 months before I had to purchase a new one!
Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter- Ice Me Out

Like I said before, I’m obsessed with Kylie Cosmetics products! This highlighter is amazing. Kylie Cosmetics has many other shades, but my favorites are Ice me Out and Sunday Brunch. I love my highlighter super bright and glittery. This one totally helps me achieve that look. I love throwing this on over some BB cream when running errands because it gives you that “glow”, without having a full face of makeup. Highlighting can do wonders to your face whether it’s the cheeks, nose, Cupid’s bow, brow line, shoulders, pretty much anywhere looks amazing! A little goes a long way with this product as well.
Makeup Revolution Highlight Reloaded

Since I love highlighter so much, I thought I would give you guys a second recommendation 😉 This has been one of my favorite highlighters since I started wearing highlighter. Makeup Revolution has so many beautiful shades 😍 Their highlighter is super pigmented and glittery! 10/10.
Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Eyeshadow Palette

THIS PALETTE!!! I’ve been using this palette for almost 4 years! The colors are so pigmented and colorful. I don’t wear the super bright colors often, but they are so pigmented and bright! I love creating and burnt orange smoky eye with this palette.
NXY Powder Eyebrow Pencil
Price: $7
I’ve used a lot of different types of brow pomades, brow powder, and pencils over the past couple of years. Who knew thick eyebrows would be a thing! I remember when every girl had to have the skinny eyebrows since that was the “in” look at the time. Oh how times have changed! I personally like the thicker, fuller eyebrow look. I really like this pencil. The powder stays on all day and doesn’t smudge. It also has a very smooth application. Make sure your brow pencil or pomade does not smudge!! Trust me, so embarrassing! This pencil is super cheap and lasts me about 1-2 months.
Kylie Cosmetics Matte LipKit- Shade Kylie
Price: $30
Kylie Cosmetics lip kits are the best! The kit comes with a lip liner and liquid lipstick. The kit lasts me about 3-4 months. My favorite shade is Kylie. Another one of my absolute favorites is Candy K. The lipstick and liner stay on all day, even after eating and drinking! I find that my lips become very dry with a lot of different lipsticks, but this one seems to work. I also love the variety of colors Kylie Cosmetics offers.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Price: $15 (1.0oz) or $34 (4.0oz)
Setting spray is essential once you have finished your makeup. It helps keep your makeup in place while keeping your skin somewhat hydrated. If I don’t wear setting spray, my face tends to become oily. This setting spray is rock solid. Your makeup won’t budge even after a wild night out. It’s a must for me!
I hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favorites! I love being able to share affordable products with you guys. Sometimes it is very important to invest in certain products due to what they can do to your skin. It’s also essential to remove your makeup every night before bed. It can cause major breakouts and can cause clogged pores. I recently learned that makeup removing wipes are extremely bad for your skin. Instead, I began using micellar cleansing water. My favorite is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Hopefully you are able to try out some of these products!
