My 4 Month Hair Care Journey

WELCOME to my four month hair care journey!!!!! My hair is super thick and curly, so it gets dry real quick. I can’t wait to see the results!

I’ve always had pretty healthy hair, but over the past 6 months it has become very dry & looks pretty damaged. Yuck. I’m still working from home so I don’t use as many heating tools. I thought that would help my hair, but I haven’t had much luck.

Day 1 of my Hair Care Journey
This is my natural hair- no heat was used. I used the Advanced Clinical’s Collagen Mask. Once rinsed, I added some hair oil and Redken De-Frizz Serum

Naturally I have thick, wavy hair, but it has always been a little on the dry side. Moisture is so important to people like me who suffer from dry hair. I just started using hair masks a 3-4 times a week to restore some hydration. Stay tuned for my upcoming post on dry hair- the good, the bad, and the ugly!

My #1 tip when buying a new product is to purchase the travel size opposed to the regular size. They are super inexpensive and it gives you a chance to try the product out to see if it works with your hair type.

I’m going to share the products I’ll be using for my hair journey. I’ll definitely be adding more and make sure to update you guys 🙂 You can find all of these products at Ulta, Sephora, or any beauty store! I don’t recommend buying name brand hair products off Amazon. They tend to be fake and cause damage to the hair.

PRODUCTS I’M USING:
  • Redken All Soft Shampoo
  • Pureology Hydrate Conditioner
  • Pureology Hydrate Leave-in-conditioner
  • Redken Detox Hair Cleanser
  • Advanced Clinical’s Collagen Hair Mask
  • SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Restore Treatment Masque
  • Hair Food Sulfate Free Dye Free Smoothing Treatment Argan and Avocado, Hair Oil
  • Redken De-Frizz Serum
